Hi,
I was trying the new feature 'INBOX' added in backoffice (Hybris 5.4)
Why the workflow display is so complex in inbox?
Can we customize the display? How?
Infobox present in productcockpit is very simple for the approvers. Then why to have Inbox bit different?
How the approver will focus on the actions available to him only? Approver won't be interested to see admin accesses and other irrelevant decisions/actions.

Hi,
Inbox in 5.4 is a minimal version allowing to make decisions and will be improved in the future to give even better usability than n the product cockpit that you mentioned. Current implementation is almost exclusivly done with configuration of general purpose widgets.
The approver should see only his/her actions in the inbox (please expand the advanced search to see the predefined conditions for the search).

Is there any release planned on the Improved version of Backoffice-Inbox. We have a lot of requirements coming to customize Backoffice-Inbox similar to Productcockpit-Infobox.
Is there any document on wiki which could help us to customize Backoffice-Inbox display options (add/remove or to develop it as PIM Infobox).

Hi,
As Wojtek mentioned you can cutomize the advanced search as is described here. Basically you have to provide correct context config snippet for the advanced-search widget and type WorkflowAction something like that :
<context type="WorkflowAction" component="advanced-search">
....your config
</context>
