HMC: searchresult action not show for certain types only

Hi all,

we have defined an action to be shown in the result context menu on Item to enable it for all search results. However, while the action is displayed for certain searches (eg. Product, Employees, ...), it is not displayed for others.

I have not checked every single result, but for example the action is missing from all searches in the WCMS section. There is not even a "Actions" sub-context there within the context menu of the hits.

The definition is clearly effective for sub-types, or it would not be show for eg. Product. It is as well active for eg. CMSSite, as the same definition adds a button to the editor, which in contrast to the context action is visible there as well.

What am I missing there? Why is the action not there in the context menu (or for that, why is the Actions sub-context missing alltogether)?
