Hi, Our business users are working in hMC and we´re thinking about implementing workflows for them. Is there any easy way to present their "workflow tasks/actions" in an intuitive way in the hMC?
I´m thinking about a similar solution to what exists in the productcockpit (tasks in the bottom left corner). It is important that the user only gets workflow tasks related to that user and don´t get access to for example workflow templates.
Can workflows be configured in the hMC-config? Can I set access-rights to how workflows are presented to users?

Hello Karl-Magnus
As far as I know the workflow module is integrated into various cockpits and process engine extension. I did not get any information or hints in the hybris wiki, for instance, if it can be integrated and triggered in HMC. we can use HMC to model and create workflow template. by going to system -> Workflow Administration -> workflow Templates. If you meant hmc.xml as the hmc-config, then it is not the place to create and configure workflow template.
There is a very good 5.2 trail on how to implement a workflow please have a look.

Each workflowTempate can be assigned to the UID of the visibleForPrincipals.
Each WorkflowActionTemplate has an assigned user or user group.
This can be configured in HMC workflow Templates or using impex file to specify it.
Hope it helps.
kind regards
Lily
