Customizing RegisterForm

Hi Experts,

I want to customize RegisterForm to add new attributes, but not finding the correct way to achieve this in hybris 5.2. Do we need to use the hybris addon concept in here or creating a new form having my custom attributes extending the current registerform is the right way.

Need suggestions.
