MRESCR Outbound IDoc after saving MB21

Hi guys,

I already searched in other sap threads for a solution, but couldnt get a final solution. I hope I can get some help and for sure people for the future.

I want to get a outbound IDoc after saving MB21.

I found out that the message type is MRESCR and the basetyp is MRESCR01.

I set in we20 under partn. Type LS in outbound parmtrs. Im here realy sure that parameters like receiver port are correct.

I wanted to try trigger the creation with message control, but didnt find any way how to use it with application, message type and process code like for purchase

But I maintain in BD64 this:

What I still have to do?

Hello, may I ask if the standard you finally used is implemented with enhancements ?

How does a standard trigger IDOC ?

In tcode NACE, we can't found output control for reservation because in SAP, reservation is internal document. No need print for internal document. So, you need enhancement for send reservation IDoc.

In enhancement MBCF0007, please make sure that your reservation already updated in table RESB. Example, you make delay for one second.

After that, get data from RESB table and call function module ALE_RESERVATION_CREATE in same enhancement for send reservation IDoc.

After some searching in last 5 days, I found the enhancement and this function module.

But im wondering why I have to use a customer exit and cant it do with WE20 / BD64.

You think that is the reason, because its an internal document. Are you realy sure that I have to do it without standard?

Yes, you must create enhancement.

In tcode NACE, you can arrange how output message will follow up, whether you want make print out, send by email, send by EDI/IDoc, etc.

If you send output message by EDI/IDoc then you must arrange how to send EDI/IDoc in tcode WE20 and BD64.

In tcode NACE, you can't see output message for reservation because reservation is not trigger output message.

You must send Purchase Order to your vendor (external company), Delivery Order must send to customer (external company), etc.

Reservation is internal document because reservation used for pick up material from your warehouse only. So, no need output message for internal document.
