Problems with FIPP B.O.

Hi all,

on a 4,7 release I'm having a problem creating a task inside a custom workflow. If I try to use the FIPP methods (e.g. display) I get the following error:

Method DISPLAY not defined for object type FIPP.

This object is generated and contains all the methods.

This doesn't happen for other BOs and I've read an OSS note (509730) about this object after a client copy, but I'm note sure this is the reason.

Any help?

It seems it depends on the presence of a subobject of FIPP...

Hi Angelo,

it may be, that if the subtype ZFIPP (e.g.) has a syntax error or is not generated, the father object type doesn't work. Click on the "generate" button in the swo1 for the FIPP object.

The error message might be misleading, because this error message also popup up, if the object type (not the method) has some problems.

I solved the problem deleting the delegation link between FIPP and its custom sub-object that has an error.
