Greetings, I am working on a training module on S/4HANA for our sales and SE teams. As such I have a question I think I have about 70% of the answer, but I am looking to complete and confirm my understanding.
With SAP S/4HANA there is a large push to use Fiori. However, from what I have read Fiori is not ideal in a situation where a retailer needs to enter in a large quantity of new seasonal items. For large quantity data entry tasks, I believe they would want to continue using the SAP GUI. That being the case, here us my understanding of what SAP S/4HANA deployment options have GUI access
1. On-premise has everything installed in-house and thus does have the GUI.
2. An IaaS solution has software and platform on-site for the customer, so they would have the GUI.
3. S/4HANA HEC has the software installed on-site and thus would have the GUI.
4. S/4HANA Cloud is only a SaaS solution and thus never gets and installed software, so no GUI access. Or is it possible for the SaaS solution to have the GUI and upload via the cloud connector?
