one to one relation

1)I have created a item type which extends the product I have created a new itemtype which has one to one relation with can i use relation tag for this reltaionship.

2)The relationship will be based on a product_id as primary key in Carproduct and foreign key in Listing itemtype can i create a new attribute and make it unique
