Hi,

You would use 'RACRM_BAI' when you want to retrieve the query contents to a table or file and want to manipulate the data further (by loading the data into any cube or ODS).

Reporting Agent is used to scheduled in background and it is used when ever you want to assign our own settings to report. Please check this link for more details

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/28/734d3caa70ea6fe10000000a114084/frameset.htm

As explained 'RACRM_BAI' if we want to retrieve data to a table or a file and to maniplicate.

Hope this helps

In rsa1 u will find reporting agent..

Thr search for query name..then right click on it and choose 'New Setting'..give title and other details..like columns..then save it..

Back out of it..then in right pane see for scheduling packages..create package..give name and description..

U have created a setting for query..drag it and drop it under the package..

Then right click on the package and choose schedule..

schedule it..done..

cheers,
