Hi Experts,

Is it possible to migrate only a particular time of data module wise on to a newly installed S/4 HANA system from Source system..Lets say ECC 6.0 ehp7..Possible methods pls..
1) Can it be done with S/4 HANA migration cockpit instead of selective data copy tools?

2) what is the main difference of S/4 HANA migration cockpit with Selective data copy tools from HANA perspective. 3) what are the possible data migrations available in S/4 HANA migration cockpit?

I would appreciate all your inputs.

Thanks in advance

Hi Priya Bharath,

Thanks for the reply ...

I want to reiterate the same question..

* Is it possible to move the application data from source system like month/year wise to the newly built S/4 HANA system using migration cockpit. If so..where can we set the time selection inside the migration objects or templates?

Thanks in advance

Hi Daniel,

When you want to move the data, I am assuming that this "DATA" resides in tables, hence you can copy the month/year data that you like and put in the templates that Migration Cockpit is going to generate for you depending on the module.

Hence, yes! you can get data from source system from the month/year that you would like and load it in to your target system.

Hi Daniel,

Thats a lot of questions :).

But, here you go

1) Yes, possible. As you will be working with a template and you load the data that you want in the template.

Rest of the questions I hope you can find your answers here
