IBP Application Template question

Hello all,

I have a CPI Task that has 5 data flows. Is there a way to create an application job template to kick off 1 or multiple of these data flows from the Excel add-on using an application job?

Hi Brian,

Maybe someone can correct me if I am missing a way of accomplish this, but I don't see how you could fulfill the job template with each data flow.

The only way would be to create separate CPI tasks and then create different application job templates on the IBP WEB UI for later use on the Excel UI.

For instance:

=> Application Job template 1: Contains only Task 1

=> Application Job template 2: Contains only Task 2

=> Application Job template 3: Contains only Task 3

=> Application Job template 4: Contains Tasks 1 and 2

=> Application Job template 5: Contains Tasks 1, 2 and 3.

Hi Ivan,

That's what I thought. I have not found a way to kick off an individual Data Flow within a Task, only the Task itself and then the specific data flows "run" but only one processes any data. I have created a CPI Process Flow and within that I can identify the specific Data Flow to run. I just have been unable to find this type of option with the Application Job Template.
