Fiori Design Studio : Could not instantiate planning service "{0}".

Dear All,

I recently started using Fiori App.

However, I am troubled that there is an unusable APP.
Please tell me how to resolve.

1. For example, Financial Statement grid-base open .
2. However, nothing is displayed. And an error message is displayed.
>Could not instantiate planning service "{0}".
>Could not instantiate data source "DS_1" for query "2CCFIFINSTMTCMP".

3.The following settings have been added.
IMG＞Cross-Application Components＞Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications＞Analytics＞BI Content Activation Workbench
FIN_CLM_PLANNING is activate.

Please let me know how to eliminate the error.

Does the user have sufficient authorizations on the backend to access the query 2CCFIFINSTMTCMP? Does the transaction SU53 show any missing authorizations?

I too have faced the exact same issue earlier, please review the below SAP Notes.

Hi Junfukuta,

Here's to fix the error:

1) As Jocelyn said, activate the Embedded Analytics
2) Make Settings for Design Studio Apps:

/n/IWFND/routing, create two system aliases: S4FIN and S4SD
RFC destination: NONE
Mark checkbox LOCAL GATEWAY

Activate SICF services:

/sap/bw/ina/GetServerInfo

/sap/bw/ina/GetResponse

That was the solution after upgrade to S/4 2020 for me!

Please check that the Embedded Analytics have been configured correctly for your S/4HANA system as per SAP Note 2289865 Configuration Steps for S/4HANA Analytics https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2289865

This is a foundational requirement and should be done already.

If the problem still occurs then please look at the note Saraubh already suggested...

In both cases it indicates a configuration problem.
