FIORI 2.0 HCMFAB_MYADDRESSES disable Validity information

Hi ,

We have implemented the FIORI 2.0 HCMFAB apps. One of the requirement is to (hide or make display only) the Validity information that comes on the Edit page of My Addresses App. (Highlighted on the attachment

)

SAP documentation https://help.sap.com/viewer/d59d9f81f4884bf9b115936b92c27202/2.0%202019-07/en-US/28c65a8057024ba78e847b4b0e3a0aef.html states that we can use view 'VT588MUIFPROPC' to change the field visibility settings. But when I search this view in SM31 it does not exist.

Is there a way around to achieve this? (By extending HCMFAB_MYADDRESSES or HCMFAB_COMMON in WEB IDE or implementing any BADI or enhancement)

I would appreciate any suggestion or code snippet.

We are on the below versions

ECC development system

Required Back-End Product (Product Version Stack) SAP Fiori 1.0 for SAP ERP HCM (13 (03/2019))

Gateway system

Front-End Components Delivered with (Product Version Stack) SAP Fiori 2.0 for SAP ERP HCM ( 06 (04/2019) )

Thank You.

Neha

    Hi Neha!

I faced the same problem and I have found out that needed view called "V_T588MUIFPROPC".

    Hope it will help you.

    Hi Neha,

you could also use the infotype customization in table V_T7XSSPERSSUBTY. From there choose infotype 0006 and deactivate the checkbox for validity period. This will deactivate and hide the according section in the Fiori App.

    Best Regards,

    Michael
