Allow access to Catalog but block access to security in Hana Web Ide

Hi everyone

Hi all I need to create a user in the SAP Hana On Premise version that has these permissions:

Allow access to the URL: http://SERVER:8000/sap/hana/ide/ And

Allow access to this URL: http://SERVER:8000/sap/hana/ide/catalog/

But BLOCK access to this URL: http://SERVER:8000/sap/hana/ide/security/

This is possible? Thank you.

Hello Carlos,

In order to provide access to Editor, Catalog and Traces access to user, you need to provide below role to user -

Trace Access

• URL - http://server:8000/sap/hana/ide/trace/
• Role Required - sap.hana.ide.roles::TraceDeveloper

Editor Access

• URL - http://server:8000/sap/hana/ide/editor/
• Role Required - sap.hana.ide.roles::EditorDeveloper

Catalog Access

• URL - http://server:8000/sap/hana/ide/catalog/
• Role Required - sap.hana.ide.roles::CatalogDeveloper

This way you can restrict user to access http://server:8000/sap/hana/ide/security/ URL as roles for Security is sap.hana.ide.roles::SecurityAdmin.
