Hello,
SAP ASE 16 on RHEL 7.2.
How much impact on performance or behavior does the execution of :
sybdiag -S<sid> -Usapsa -T asecore, keyfile, aseadd, osdata
may have on a large busy system with 32 cores in order to gather information?
Thank you
Regards
Jose
Are you trying to run sybdiag frequently to collect data for reocrd ?
sybdiag is typically run for troubleshooting on advice from SAP/Sybase TS folks.
So going by scope it looks to intrusive and will collect all the data which TS folks need for a case.
Impact on the server will be there. How much and how long only TS folks can explain.
