scheduling the init

Hi all,

i filled the setup tables for purchasing in r/3.In bw Iam doing init schedule in purchasing.

first i scheduled the init for 2lis_02_itm

2lis_02_hdr

2lis_02_scn

2lis_02_scl

2lis_02_cgr

2lis_02_sgr

if i schedule in this order will there be any problem?

or a particular order has to b maintained like inventory?

please give me the solution.its abit urgent..

thanks for your reply.after filling the setup tables in r/3.i did initial schedule for itm,hdr,scn.

this has been 3 days. now i want to continue init schedule for other 3 datasorces.will there b any delta missing problem,orshall i do from starting onwards i.e again deleting setup tables and filling setup tables and then init schedule to all the datasources,kindly give me the solution

Please do the init for other 3 datasources too.

I believe u will not see any issues.

I think first u have to first load these scn,cgr,sgr

no problem if u do other way but it will be better I think

Hi Divi,

I know you have solved your problem but still thought of writing it to you -

Your doubt remindes me of my early days in Bw, I had exactly the same doubt.

>> let us talk basics - Cube does not have any overwriting facilty (of key figures) , what I meant by this when new data comes it sits at new place & does not interact with old ( already loaded) data. So which ever way you load request to Cube does not matter.

But ODS has got the capability to overwrite data, be careful when loading data in ODS.
