Hi experts,
This was not possible in 9.0, and it seems to make sense: picking stock with open inspection documens was not possible, regardless of the stock type.
However, after upgrading to 9.5, we found out that WTs are being created if the stock type matches, picking is possible and even posting goods issue is working.
Does anybody know if this is a bug or a feature?
See the pickture: stock picked for PDO, still with inspection document reference.
System is SCM-EWM 9.5 with QIE 2.0.
Hi Julio,
This behavior is because of config node present in below path:
SPRO -> EWM -> Cross-Process Settings -> Quality Management -> Forbid Goods Movements of Inspection Stocks
Read the help given in this config node, to understand how to stop GI of goods that are under QI.
Best Regards,
Pavan

Hello Pavan,
Thank you for the quick answer. We are investigating this SPRO node. At first sight, it didn't change with the upgrade (we have the same values as in 9.0, ie, GI not allowed). However, we keep on researching on that direction.
This doesn't however answer the first part of my question: it was in 9.0 not possible to pick that stock, now it is.
Hi Pavan,
Indeed, we had some wrong settings in "Forbid Goods Movements of Inspection Stocks" for the warehouse where we found the issue. Now GI is not possible.
Picking stock in quality inspection is still possible when the stock type is correct (free), but we found out that this behaviour was already present in 9.0. So no version related and probably working as designed. We will prevent user picking stock in quality inspection by making sure that it is posted GR in quality stock type always and preventing changes from Q to F when inspection document is open.
Thanks for your help.
