Number range for Inspection

Hi experts,

Is it possible to maintain a number range for inspection ID in ByD similar to the other documents like customer invoicing (that is, with prefix and separator and/or suffix)? The number range for most documents can be maintained in BC, but not inspection. Please advise, thank you.

    Dear E Vera,

Currently there is no provision made to alter the number range of Inspection Document , it gets incremented as and when Inspection Document gets generated. The Number range can be maintained for other Documents ,However Inspection Number ranges are designed in such a way that it cannot be accessed vis Business Configuration.

Hence It is not possible to maintain number range for Inspection Document in Business By Design.

I hope this answers your query.

    Regards,

    Dear Eunice,

I would appreciate if you raise request in Influence forum

Other customers can then vote for it, which will assert its legitimacy as a standard feature by showing the industry need and in turn influence the implementation schedule of the requirement.
