Self Signed Certificate : SAP PO

Hi,

We need to share SAP PO (self signed) certificate with source system for SSL connectivity.

  1. Can you please confirm if the default certificate 'ssl-credentials-cert' available under ICM_SSL_<instance number> keystore view is sufficient? That is we plan to export it as .cer file and share it with source system. Is there any other step to perform "self sign"
  2. When we check the certificate, the status is "This CA Root certificate is not trusted because it is not in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store." Needed to know if this is fine.
  3. And issuer details are listed as below: CN = localhost OU = ssl-enabled-server O = app-server. Is this correct? How are these parameters validated? Where are these values maintained?

I did check a lot of blogs before posting these questions as I needed more clarity. Please help.

Regards,

Malgi
