PO version to be used for s/4 HANA integration

Hi Gurus,

Our client will implement S/4 HANA 1809 as the ERP system. Now, What version of PO should we suggest to integrate with S/4 HANA. PO 7.4 or 7.5 single stack? Keeping in mind that SAP will end support of PO 7.4 by 2020, PO 7.5 should be the automatic choice?

Note : S/4 HANA on-premise edition will be implemented.

Regards,

P.K.

Hi ,

We recently went go-live with S/4 HANA 1809 with PI 7.5 , yes considering the future PI 7.5 which has latest features like Rest Adapter with enhanced feature , PIT tool with comes with PI 7.5 SP15 etc.

Thanks,

Manoj

You should install PO 7.5 although there is no big difference between 7.4 and 7.5 (some feature are new). A HANA DB is also not neccessary if you will not process thousands of messages during a second. Think about the costs because you need much more memory for HANA DB because the messages of PO are saved in the database. And the database is crowing very fast depending on your messages and so on. And there is no real benefit to use HANA for PO.
