IDT Promotion Management - Catalog Migration

Hi,

I have created a Universe in DEV environment and promoted it to UAT. The promotion was between two systems. Because the relational connection from BW was new, we had to migrate the connection too. Hence the folder, connection and the Universe was migrated. The connection test in target system is successful. However , the Catalog seems to be null. Even if I update the catalog name from Dev system, I cannot save the settings. The Data Federation Administration Tool doesn't list out this connection or catalog. How will I migrate the connection catalog from DEV to UAT? Please help

Thanks for the reply. I did delete the contents from recycle bin before migrating the connection again. It doesn't show up the connection or catalog in the DFAT in target system. Please let me know your thoughts.

As Thomas said, you must first delete objects (univ, connections, ...) that you have deleted and want to promote again from the Recycle Bin

Delete the migrated connections only in target environment and migrate connections again.

Hi Amit,

I deleted the migrated connections and recreated a new job with a sample connection and promoted it to UAT. It ended in partial success with the attached failure message cats.png.
