Dependent Dimensions

Hello,

is there a possibility to connect a filtered dimensions with an other dimension?

For example I have a input control with the dimension "year of production start". If the user choose Year =2018 then the other dimension "year of production end" should be set to 2018 automatically in the background (same with the other years 2017,2019,...). Is there a way or do I have to create a second input Control with the dimension "year end"?

I just want to see the cases which started and ends in 2018...
