SAP S/4 HANA Migration cockpit: issue with Staging table synchronization

Hello experts,

We are facing a issue, we are not able to synchronize staging tables using LTMC transaction. After clicking on start synchronization we are getting success message that "Staging tables and the migration object synchronized", but Migration status is still "Synchronization required" (as you can check in below screen shot)

And we found out that Staging tables are deleted from Database, and only definition is remaining in SE11 (as you can check below)

Due to this on opening Migration Structure linked to Staging table, we get Error 500.

Can anyone please help and let us know how we can solve this issue.

Hi Experts, I have a question regarding migration using Staging tables.

1. how should we enable staging tables.?Whitelisting them from sm30 is the only option? Before that do we need to do any configurations?

Hello Koushik,

this is depending on what SAP S/4HANA release (Cloud, onPrem, version) you are working on and if you use remote or local database connection. There was a change for the UI -> until SAP S/4HANA 2020, you use LTMC as transaction. Starting SAP S/4HANA 2020, we have the SAP Fiori App "Migrate Your Data" in place.

Please check documentation http://help.sap.com/S4_OP_DM, select the release you are working on.

Hello,

Please refer SAP Knowledge Base Articel (KBA) Transfer Data Using Staging Tables 2733253 - FAQ for SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit - Transfer option: Transfer data from staging tables.

Check back end transaction DBCO if your database connection is available you need to white-list this connection in table DMC_C_WL_DBCO_OP using SM30.
