sales bom for dien material

hi ,

I´m trying to create a sales Bill of material with dien material ( non stock and non value material). But I don´t if my configuration is correct.

the material at the top level is dien with erla item group.

the subitem is dien material with norm Item group.

I create a sales BOM for services but it does not explode IN vA01 and I receive this message:

The system did not find a valid bill of material

Message no. V1113

thank you very much now the BOM explodes in sales order,

I just put the status 1 active for sales order explosion in OS23.

Hello,

Please check OS23 status 1 active for Sales order explosion.

CS12 check with different BOM application like BOM Application PP01

Or create sale order with requested date as 22/08 and check if BOM gets exploded.

Have created BOM through CS61 or CS01?

What is BOM application? and usage?

Also check BOM status as 1 active and check BOM application and item category setting in VOV7.

3. Question: Which settings are required to explode a bill of material in the sales order?

Answer: Two settings are required:•The structure scope of the item category must be 'A' or 'B'. •In the BOM, the item must be indicated as relevant for SD (item detail -> Status / long text). Also see Note 454937.

The Bom was created through CS01.

Hello,

Please check the following points,

An item in BOM are stock item L or N in the BOM

In CS12 transaction are able to explode the bom for BOM Application SD01

In OS30 BOM Application is active for sales order explosion.

Also try to create the sale order in future date and check if BOM gets exploded or not as BOM is valid from 19/07.
