Effect of ALPHA conversion in Datasource

Hi Experts,

I have added ALPHA conversion (highlighted below) to Customer number field for one of the custom data source.

Collected the changes in TR and moved to quality & tested.

Now will there be any issue related to delta functionality or is it required to do data source replication when I move the changes to production. Just want to confirm before transport to production.

Please advise.
