Mrp not considering manual reservation from PP order

Hi,

How can MRP will consider manual material reservation (creating by pp-order CO01) into account while MRP run ?

thisi is my scenario:

Mrp type = V1

Lot size = HB with maxium 20000

In OMDQ i've activated all Indicator under the tab add. ext. req. in the reorder point planning and settting External reqmts within replenishment lead time.

Purchase requisition quantity from MRP run: 13000 while i expected 14560

Hello,

In t-code OMDQ, set the indicator "Include ext. reqmts" as "2 External reqmts within replenishment lead time" for MRP type V1. Also set the indicator "Order reservation".

However you have set max stock level as 20000 so MRP planning it correctly.

13000 PR 840 PR 5160 Stock 1000 QM lot Total 20000 Max stock level

In t-code OMDQ i've just set the indicator, same result: Avaible Qty 18440 while i need to consider also the reservations of 1560 in MRP, to arriva at 20000.

Something i'm not considering?

Hello,

As per the lot size HB Replenish up to maximum stock level, MRP output is correct.

The calculation is nicely described in online help:

Replenishment up to Maximum Stock Level

Lot size HB - Maximum stock level is used during MRP execution with lot size procedure.

Maximum stock level- Quantity of the material in this plant that may not be exceeded.

You may try the same scenario with EX lot size, delete firm PR and rerun the MRP and check the results.
