Copying roles to new user in SU01, role Start Date stays the same as reference user

Hello, I have a question about copying roles from a user to a new user. When I copy an existing user and choose to copy the roles over to the new user, the start date for the roles stays the same. Is there a note or a program that could automatically update the start date of the roles to the date the new user was created without me having to manually do it?

Hi,

Well you can limit the SAP User validity in su01 or you can try create a similar derived role & assign to those particular users. A role is active for a user if the correspondence profile is generated for that Role
