Tax Depreciation area without acquisition value

Hi All

We created a new depreciation area related to taxation in 2018. In 2019 it was noted that some of the assets does not have any value in tax depreciation area. Upon analyzing we found that these assets (for example-5678) got value through settlement where AuC (1234) does not have any tax depreciation area.

As per SAP Note-317806 we created a Z* program & upon executing tax depreciation area was activated in AuC (1234). Thereafter we ran Tcode-AFBN for asset 5678 & we still don't see the value in tax depreciation area.

Pls advice.

Hi Pankaj,

Based on my experience, working on the similar kind of requirements, after activating any kind of programs like above you need to run a correction program to see the value in the report.

Check on SAPSupport Portal for the correction program, if not reach out to SAP.
