In table T5UTI you can link tax companies via the predecessor/successor field, so that the tax contributions do not reset when an employee transfers companies.
Can you link two companies as predecessors to the same successor? We have two tax companies (e.g. A & B) that will be merging into the same company code (e.g. C) approximately 1 month after each other. It is not apparent to me if the field will accept multiple entries or if they should be separated by a comma, etc. Any experience with this? Surely other companies have done multiple tax company restructuring in one year?
It seems to me, as a worst case scenario, I could link A into C and then the next year (once all employees for A are fully C and no taxes remain for A) I could link B to C? But that is far from ideal.
