Where Comments are stored and can we build a model on top of that?

Hello Everyone!

My goal is simple, i want to use the comments of a story/objets and use it in my story as a text object, Where Comments are stored and can we build a model on top of that?

sgarneau1 After talking to our developer peers i can confirm that comments are stored within the database instance (another schema in case of NEO) and on a separate DB ( in case of CF/AWS) systems. Thus you're not able to report on these as they're not accessible by SAC users. As suggested below please raise this as an enhancement per our Influence Site: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/884

Hi Sylvain,

The Comments are stored in the Model or at a model level and stored against the Data Point on which they are saved.

So even though a new story is created the last saved comment can be seen against the Data Point it had been saved previously in another story.

Hence when a new story is opened, Comment Mode is on by default, user can easily navigate to the Comment. (Add Comment) icon.

I am not sure you can build a Model on top this just yet ..
