BYD Cost Collecting Project - Cost Center change

BYD Specialists,

Is it possible to change the cost center in a cost collecting project, after costs have been posted?

Adding a new task and changing the responsible unit, only allows the profit center change. Can we do the same for the cost center? If not, what do you recommend as a workaround?

Are the overhead rules re-assignment an option for achieving this?

Hi Sebastian,

no, you cannot change the responsible cost center in any project after the project was released.
You need to close the one project and create a new one.
