Error while deleting FI Document in SARA

Hello ,

I am getting the below error while doing archival. All customising are in line , but surprisingly facing the same error.

Account type life not reached T071.

FYI - All customisations are updated properly with 1 days as residence period.

FI documents posting date could be different so it has not archived those documents that have not met the retention time from the date of posting.

Retention time will be checked for both Account life and document type life for more security reasons. This checks will help in providing more flexibility in retention period policy for FI documents. For example: AUC account documents. we can configure different retention period than the normal fi documents

Hi Mainak,

For both the cases in SARA customising I have updated residence period as 1 only & all the documents considered for deletion are pertains to FY 2018 only.

Entry data & Posting dates are in 2018 only.

Please check the document life set for company code/Document type..

Account type life error may come if there is an open item or based on the configuration for Company Code/AccType/Account...

Use the following path to check the config.

FA>FA Global Settings>Document-->Acc.Doc.Archive

Change value in document life base on document type to be archived or *

Goto SM30 enter view V_T070 / V_T071

I expect this will solve your issue.

There were some future date updates in the transferred documents, which was giving this error. Found out during debugging.
