Hello Experts!
Due to user mistake during order creation the contract number did not get updated in the reference doc field in line item (VBAP-VGBEL).
Is there any provision available to update the contact number now to link the order line item to the contract i.e after the order is completely process and completed?
The only option is to make direct table entries but this field is being stored in multiple tables like LIPS, S008, S073, VBRP etc., and you need to ensure to update all these tables which is not advicable

In the change mode of Sales Order (VA02), Select Edit - Assign Contract - Header or Item.
