how to create the multiple company codes in sap fico

Dear guru's,

One of my client requirement how to create the multiple company codes under company in one time is there any standard procedure in sap could you please guide to me and also i tried to bdc-recording but its not working.

Hi,

Company code creation is not a master data, as there is a lot of confiraution involved. You can copy one from another as suggested before; but still, you have to carefully review what you are creating in this manner, in terms of configuration. So, forget about 'BDC recording' 🙂

the standard approach to create a new co.code is by copying an existing co.code and then change the parameters, but as per your question, multiple co.codes can't be created at one go, you can't use the recording method.

Hi,

You can create a new Company code but it is the better way try to copy the existing company code and make the changes in it. This helps to make easy in configurations and make less changes in desired company code

Create one Company code with all the configurations and assignments and copy it to the other Company codes using EC01.

Creating multiple Company codes using LSMW with the T-code OX02 but you will have to lot more things to get that Company code work.
