    Hi Chandra ,

To check what roles are needed for a specific app , please check the fiori library at the link

Search for the app , for example 'Manage Cost Center' - drop down for S4HANA CLoud.'F1443A')/S17

navigate to Implementation Information and then expand the Configuration node

At the bottom , under Business Roles - it should tell us which role you need .

For example ,here it says SAP_BR_OVERHEAD_ACCOUNTANT

If this role is already assigned to your user ( in the App Manage Business Role ) the next step is to check there is any restrictions on the role

Open the app Maintain Business Role" and search for the role .

for example SAP_BR_OVERHEAD_ACCOUNTANT and check of the display restrictions .

if Write , Read , value is set to "No Access" this means create authorization isnt available and could be the cause of the authorization eror.

Usually changing this to "unrestricted" resolves the issue

If you still face any issues ,or have any questions , please let us know

    Thank you

Awesome explanation. Thank you for the guidance. The specific role

SAP_BR_OVERHEAD_ACCOUNTANT has write access:No access though read access is unrestricted.

I'm actually working on Starter system surprised that write access is not availble. I will reach out to SAP customer engagement rep.

    Hi Chandra ,

Im glad the information is of help.

If you have the role SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR assigned to you , you can update the restrictions yourself in the App Maintain Business Role .

Ive attached screenshot to show maintainbusinessrole.pngmaintain2.pngupdate.png from an internal reference system.

I think in Starter sytems , some roles are provided with write access:No access . i dont know why.
