Hi All,
I just wanted know about the standard logic of VBAPD-EPMEH.
I came to know that if line items have more than one schedule lines, this field will be marked as X.
But, in my case, I am having a Sales order with 2 line items and each line item is having only one schedule lines,
and I can see that the field VBAPD-EPMEH and XVBAP-EPMEH is marked as X.
Please help me to understand the standard logic to update this field, if you have any idea about this.
Thank you!

I dont want to update this field, I just want to know the logic behind this variable.
In some cases, eventhough the schedule line is 1, this variable is getting marked as 'X'.
Thanks for your response.

Why do you want to know? Are you trying to resolve a problem? Or is it just idle curiosity?

Hello,
The schedule line indicator "Do multiple schedule lines exist?" is always set when it was order item not confirmed for the requested date.
Means multiple schedule line is created by availability check of an item in a sales order if item could not confirmed at the requested day.
Please check schedule line in VA02/03 you have confirmed quantity with single schedule line.

Hi Brahmankar,
Thanks for your response.
In my sales order, for each line item is having two schedule lines like,
Delivery date ord .quan. conf. quant
09.07.2019 70 0 KG
10.07.2019 0 70 KG
And the schedule line indicator is marked as 'X'.

Hello,
It means order is unconfirmed.
Could you please check the change log for sale order item, whether it had confirmed quantity VBEP-BMENG with schedule line and then in next ATP it became unconfirmed?
As per F1 help of field EPMEH- Indicates if more than one schedule line exists for the item or if the confirmed quantity of the item is smaller than the order quantity.
Best Regards,

Hello,
VBEP-BMENG is having 0 in first schedule line and 70 in second schedule line for a single line item.
Is this case is considered as multiple schedule lines?
