Changing Allocation Cost Element in KP26

Hi All,

I am trying to change the allocation cost element in KP26 , for accomplishing this I am changing the allocation cost element in activity master and then in KP26 trying to delete the line corresponding to the old allocation cost element but I am unable to do so.

Can you please suggest a way to change the allocation cost element in KP26 or to have new allocation cost element into effect with the plan activity and price ?

Hi,

It gives the message that the values are deleted, but when I go in again the values are zero but the line item exists with the same allocation cost element. Routings have the activity types, this could be the reason that the allocation cost element is unchanged. I am looking for a way if the allocation cost element can be changed without deleting the activity type assignment in routings.

Do you Save/Post after deletion? In the menu you can check Extras > Error log > Delete...

Also check Cost Element Planning KP06.

Hi PP,

What do you mean by I am unable to do so? Do you get any message? It is not just in KP26, but probably in other data objects you have dependent records for plan consumption. That you have to find out!
