keymapping issues

Hi Folks !!

Below is a situation - need some help to resolve it :

we have extracted material from multiple systems and these have been assigned keymappings in MDM - but when these are getting syndicated - the keymappings are changing. How do we find out the relationship between the original keymapping and the changed one. ?

Hi Vinay,

Can you please elaborate your scenario a little.

Are the key mappings changing from what you have assigned in the Console for different client systems when you were syndicating the records for a particular client system?

Normally it happens like this - If we have two client systems Cl1 and Cl2 then, if you are syndicating the data for Cl1 then you will get all the records from Cl1 with the unique key of Cl1 and records of Cl2 will have the Key Range values picked up.

Hi Vinay,

After importing the data from all the source systems, were you able to see the "Key Mappings" for the records

(In DataManager right click on the record,select Edit key mapping).

Yes we are able to. But why do the numbers change ?
