Hello,
I have some workbooks using Analysis for Office. I was using the convert to formula mode on a crosstable the other day. Normally, to revert this you would just click the undo button. However, I left my crosstable in this state, saved, and exited. I opened up my workbook again today and refreshed the data source but my crosstable was still displaying all the formulas instead of the values. The undo button is grayed out so I'm not sure how I am supposed to get it back to normal where I can make changes. I tried adding dimensions to the table just to see if that triggers a reset.
Is there any way to get my table back into its regular state without using the undo button?
Edit: Analysis version 2.7.600.89395, Excel version 1808 (Build 10730.20348)
Hi Michael,
Please try below work around.
1. Open the workbook create a new sheet.
2. Goto Component tab in Design pane.
3. Select the Query which is stucked with Convert to formula.
4. Right click select insert crosstab option it will insert query with the same analysis state without convert to formula option.
5. Delete the sheet where query is stucked with convert to confmula.
6. Rename the newly created sheet with old sheet name.
7. Save workbook.
I hope this will fix your issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Shiva
