Can't access S/4 HANA using Eclipse ADT

Hi I have received a S/4 HANA trial version credentials from Administrator, tried to log in using SAP GUI log on pad, it is working fine. Then I tried to access the same through ABAP prospective in Eclipse, getting an error as "partner 'xxx.xx.xx.xx:3300' not reached". I am using the same server details and credentials but no luck. My user ID has SAP_ALL profile on this server, probably it is not an authorization error. Secondly, I also updated my etc\hosts file on my personal computer with server and host details. but no luck again.

Is there something I am missing here to check with administrator. please let me know .

Hi Sreekanth,

can you try it via the Windows remote desktop server that is part of the trial instance (your admin will know the IP address for accesing it) ? Eclipse & ABAP Dev Tools are installed there as well.

If it works from there, the issue is somewhere in your network setup (corporate firewall ? port 3300 blocked ? ... ).

Also, ask your administrator to check if the port 3300 is still opened in the CAL console of your instance. By default it should be open but admins can disable it.
