We are upgrading the windows 10 systems from Feature Update 1709 to Feature Update 1809. After successful upgrade we have noticed that if user launches logon pad then all the connections are missing. Moreover, its not the case with all the users who are upgraded to 1809.
Currently the connections are getting from the file - SAPUILandscape.xml (C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\saplogonpad\)
Also, noticed that after installation of 1809 this file is getting created without any connections and here is the content of the file
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> -<Landscape generator="SAP GUI for Windows v7500.1.3.125" version="1" updated="2019-07-02T10:08:37Z"> -<Includes> <Include index="0" url="file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/Saplogonpad/SAPUILandscapeGlobal.xml"/> </Includes> </Landscape>
Workaround is to delete this file from the user's profile so that whenever user launches the logon pad its getting created automatically with all the connections from saplogon.ini file.
May I know if anyone face this issue. if yes, is there any permanent fix?
