MTO-User are able to Make the Production order more than Sales Order Qty

Hello Experts,

We Create an Sales order with Requirement type "KE", Strategy 20. with Qty. 1000 EA. But when User Create the Production Order (Using CO08) - he can increase the Qty. in Production order as well as can create multiple Production orders with increased qty. (Say order 1 1000 EA, Order2-2000EA....).

How can we stop it.

There is no setting in the standard system that would prevent the user to increase the order quantity in case of MTO. If you want to prevent this, you need to add a custom check using BAdI WORKORDER_UPDATE.

Hi,

Remove the authorization of CO08,CO02 for the user. Or find who has changed by looking at administration tab ask why he did like this. Make him understand consequences.
