What happens to the object lists after an ECTR client update?

Hello community,
we plan an update of the clients from ECTR 5.1.9.3 to ECTR 5.1.14.
Now the question:
What happens to the object lists and the documents they contain?
Where are these stored and are they still available to the user after the update?
Or can/must I export or save them?
Thank you very much for your support.

Yours sincerely
Werner Riel

Hello Werner,

Object Lists are transient, not persisted. They are just collections which exist during the ECTR session in memory only. After ending the session they are gone.

So there is no impact in Object Lists during the update. Documents are also not touched during updates.

Hope this helps.

Hello, Gerhard,
thank you so much for your answer.
However, I also expressed myself a little unclear.
We set the object lists to "enable list persistence" and so they remain available in a new ECTR session. We use the lists as a "worklist".

In the meantime, however, I have come to the solution myself. Unfortunatly to late. 😉
In the directory "C:\Users\xxx\...\tfolder" there is the file "tempfolder.xml", which contains the structure and the content of the object list.
This file can be saved and restored.
Maybe the info can help other users.

Many greetings
