How do I remove a string from my report?

I have a price list with all our house designs (field is named tblModels.Model) on it and the prices (e.g. design 1, design 2 and design 3). If I wanted to remove design 3 from the list how would I do that. I am thinking of a formula something like:

If tblModels.Model = "design 3" then delete.

But I am new to crystal reports and have no idea how to do it or the correct functions to use.

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to Report, Selection Formula, Record

    and enter something like:

    tblModels.Model <> "design 3"

    Hello,

I think you are looking for the replace function.

    Syntax:

    Replace (inputString, findString, replaceString)

    Example:

    Replace(tblModels.Model,"design 3","")

The above example will find the string design 3 and replaces with empty values.

    Thanks.
