Hi,

Yes you can test using Target Group. To do so, Create a target group based on Segmentation Profile of you choice and then click "Export based on Export Definition" as in following snapshot.

This should open a new window where you will chose the correct definition and click "Start Export".

Hi Saurabh,

Thanks for the reply. I want to see the excel output. When you click this you get the option to select your export definition. based on that we can see the output of the target group. But when you click export button I am not able to get the file downloaded in my system to see how it is viewed.

Hi Selvam,

Yeah UI is bit clumpy:)

So once you choose the correct export definition and click Start Export then Marketing starts to process targte group as export file but it does not download. Once export is complete then you will see a small FILE icon on left hand detail/overview panel in Target Group header where you can click the file and download the CSV.

Hi Saurabh,

Thanks for the help. For some fields if we have multiple value we are not getting properly in the output (Excel). Is their a way to organise the output.

Hi Selvam,

Unfortunately, I have never worked with such scenario where single field have multiple value while exporting, hence i cannt talk about the output CSV behavior.

But just a wild guess, those values should be separated by comma and if that's the case then that's how standard is designed i would say!!!

Hi Saurabh,

I am able to export the file. for some fields if we have multiple value, is it possible to show as separate line item in the Excel. If not can we have a filter based on which we can remove the unwanted data.

Selvam
