Partitioning SAP BW Hana optimized infocube

Hi Experts,

I would like to know if its possible to repartition the default partitions on BW Hana optimized cube (BI 7.4 SPS16) based on time chars . The reason being we have an fast growing infocube and if I perform compression the compressed data will move to one of the partitions and if the data exceeds 2 billion records in that partition then what is the approach to repartition as I do not see DB partitioning option enabled on infocubes.

I read the old thread on this topic where it says we can't partition on time chars but just wondering if things have changed in the recent years. please provide your inputs. Thank you
