History status - not active due to front end being executed

Hi SAP community! I reach you in order have some professional advice in a problem I encountered with the history data not being loaded. When I try to turn history on, instead of having any option (on or off), there is this message in Spanish: "Historial desactivado porque el front end se ejecuta en modo de conexión lento". It somehow says that “Front end” is executed during slow connections. I wonder if there´s a solution to this inconvenient?
