Future of SAP Dashboard Design in 2020 after Adobe cuts the FLASH support

We are currently using the SAP Dashboard Design to create dynamic charts and embed them into PowerPoint presentations in order to "spice up" these reports. As everybody knows, it's Flash based and Adobe will cut the Flash support next year. Will the software be usable after that? If not, any alternatives?

    Hi Gil,

I guess that until the browser supports Adobe FLash, you'll be able to use SAP Dashboard Design. The problem is that that a software not updated is vulnerable to maliciuos attack and not to work on newer platforms (newer browsers, newer OS, and so on).

SAP in working very hard on SAP Analytics Cloud. Even to me is still unclear what will happen to SAP Lumira (which was thought to be the successor of SAP Dashboard Design), but I guess that SAP will work to mantain something also on premise (but this is a personal guess).

So you should take a look to both SAP Lumira (which has an unclear future) and SAP Analytics Cloud (which is what SAP is proposing now).

    Best regards

Lumira 2.x and SAP Analytics Cloud are 2 products you should be moving to as Flash support is dying off.
