SP Transaction to Block users from Updating Sales Order

Hello guys,

I have a specific requirement in which user should only update one UDF field(UDF Field name: Receipt Number) in the sales order screen & should not update any other field in SAP Sales Order.

Is this SP_Transaction notification possible?

Hi Deepak,

Try making inactive all UDFs except "Receipt". In addition you will need to prevent users from accessing the UDF settings.

I think that's not possible, what if the user's want to add. Unless there is a way in making that active/inactive depends on add/update mode to change.

I think this solution might work, I have used the form settings & de activated all the fields.

But if the user in future raise an Sales order, He wont be able to create....

It's depend on user's authorization .

Hi,

Its very difficult to control using transaction notification for all fields from sales order.

Let me know if you need block specific field to control.

Hi,

Your requirement is possible in transaction notification. One option is to compare all your UDF using the ADOC table. Maybe there is some better way out there for your requirement.
