Eg: file name is filename.mdb (everyday file name will be same) suppose today, if I haven't receive a file, how do I find that using script?

Is that through date modified/data volume? If yes, then how do l proceed for there! Let me know, if your not clear on the requirements. Keep me updated

    Hello Prasad,

    You can check the existence of file using file_exists() function in bods before executing a job in script level.

    IF (file_exists(filename_variable) = 0)

    PRINT('file not found);
    raise_exception('file not received for today' || sysdate());

    Please give a try.

    Best Regards,

    • Thanks for the reply iswarya,

      Here the problem file name never change, it will be same name override the existing file. In that case how do we find if file not updated in that location.

      Eg: File.txt is my file name it will be same and everyday it'll override. If file not updated, I should not process the file. How do we proceed in this case.

      Thanks in advance!
